Saint-Nazaire modernizes the recording of its early childhood records

with IPM France's EK 2000 interactive kiosks
The city of Saint-Nazaire is modernizing its early childhood check-in system with IPM France's EK 2000 interactive kiosks

Testimonial from Christophe Deroiné, Information Systems Department, Saint-Nazaire, and Jérôme Arnaud, Applications Manager, Saint-Nazaire

"After nearly ten years of using EK 1000 identification kiosks, we have decided to take a new step forward in 2025 by equipping Saint Nazaire's early childhood services with EK 2000 interactive kiosks. With their 15-inch touchscreen and sleek design, they offer better readability and a more intuitive user experience. These new kiosks will be rolled out gradually throughout 2025, with a total of 45 installations spread across several batches.

These touchscreen kiosks make it much easier to check in and identify children when they arrive or visit the cafeteria. The process is quick and easy: children simply scan the barcode on their card directly at the kiosk.

We chose to install these kiosksin various municipal facilities: nurseries, before- and after-school care centers, and school cafeterias. On average, each site is equipped with two kiosks, which helps streamline flow management and optimize day-to-day organization.

For nearly ten years, we have relied on IPM France to supply our interactive kiosks. For this new phase, we have chosen to continue this collaboration because the EK 2000 kiosks are more modern, ergonomic, and robust, while offering excellent value for money. Another key factor in our choice is their perfect compatibility with Arpège's Concerto Presto management software, reinforced by the long-standing partnership between IPM France and Arpège."
